Use case
The bioreactor captured and destroyed all of the off-gassing ammonia.

More on ammonia and improving animal health
We worked with Bode Miller, Olympic Gold Medal winner in Skiing, to clean the air in his horse barn, designed for training equine athletes. Bode was interested in improving the health of his horses by removing mold, ammonia, and other contaminants from the air. Blood samples were taken from the horses’ before and after 30 days of air scrubbing by bioreactors. Results are shown below. The horses’ blood samples after 30 days of air scrubbing show that blood oxygen reserve levels and White Blood Cell blood oxygen building activity were increased.
Dramatic Reserve Oxygen (ROx) and Booster Oxygen (BOx) Gains
The blood of 11 race horses were measured before BioOx systems were installed. Baseline results showed only an average of 26.9% performance in booster oxygen capacity (BOx) and 48.8% performance in available reserve oxygen (ROx).
Besides having a reserve, the body is also capable of making new reserves (hence BOx). BOx is the white blood cell’s ability to build oxygen reserves continuously. That’s why BOx is so crucial to performance and health.
After BioOx was installed, there was a dramatic 135% increase in BOx performance and a 45% increase in ROx performance.
