Installation and Maintenance
Installation and set up for each unit is under an hour. Depending upon your pollution levels, maintenance of the units is required every one to three months. Addition of BioOx Media is required every month. And, a constant water level must be maintained.

The answer is that our unit reacts with the toxins to destroy them which no other air cleaner does. It does this through bio oxidation much like the human liver, and just like our planet. Various forms of bioreactors can be found through ecological systems for cleanup, energy, photosynthesis etc. BioOx Reactors paired with BioOx Media can create the same effective chemistries.

You will see a difference within minutes, especially if you are sensitive to dirty air or odors. Each BioOx reactor begins to build a ‘dome’ of clean air around it. Eventually the domes of clean air will meet and BioOx will clean the entire indoor volume of your location.

Here is where you can save real money. Normal systems eject air out of a building, causing heated and air-conditioned air to escape which is an incredible waste of money. BioOx reactors clean the air inlace, reducing the need to exhaust excess air. Of course, not over-using heaters and air conditioners reduces your carbon footprint as well.
We recommend cleaning your units once every 2-3 months for normal usage. But you may have to clean more often if your air is much dirtier than normal.

This is a graph of ammonia readings that were taken at a chicken farm during a 20 day duration with 20,000 chickens per house. The house with the BioOx air cleaning system running saw a 48% reduction of measured ammonia with the same vent time and vent box opening as house 4 (both houses were identical in age and size)
E-coli and Ammonia are two large contributors to mortality in poultry houses. Because house #3 had such a dramatic reduction in ammonia, there was a 32% reduction in mortality over house #4 without BioOx.

This is a graph of “reserve oxygen” (ROx) and “booster oxygen” (BOx) measurements that were taken during a blood study at Olympic Champion Bode Miller’s equine sports training facility.
The blood of 11 race horses were measured before BioOx air cleaning systems were installed. Baseline results showed only an average of 26.9% performance in booster oxygen capacity (BOx) and 48.8% performance in available reserve oxygen (ROx).
Besides having a reserve of oxygen, blood is also capable of making new oxygen reserves. BOx is the factory that builds new ROx, it boosts oxygen reserves continuously. That’s why BOx is so crucial to performance and health.

BioOx’s titan-class Reactor 10000 units were installed at the Albuquerque Sewage Treatment Plant in order to sweep, capture, and destroy H2S and other fugitive odoriferous compounds from their Preliminary Treatment Facility (PTF) air.
Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utilities Authority (ABCWUA) staff took 19 samples of BioOx Reactor unit water, and sent them out for 3rd party analysis. Nineteen out of nineteen samples tested positive for sulfur, indicating positive deodorization of fugitive odors at the PTF.
