Pathogen Destruction

BioOx solution significantly reduces viral and bacterial pathogen concentrations.* In a study conducted at a hospital in Saronno, Italy, our bio-reactor reduced the airborne microbial population and particulate matter (PM) in hospital visiting rooms and attached waiting areas.

Ammonia reduction performance

This is a graph of ammonia readings that were taken at a chicken farm during a 20 day duration with 20,000 chickens per house. The house with the BioOx air cleaning system running saw a 48% reduction of measured ammonia with the same vent time and vent box opening as house 4 (both houses were identical in age and size)

E-coli and Ammonia are two large contributors to mortality in poultry houses. Because house #3 had such a dramatic reduction in ammonia, there was a 32% reduction in mortality over house #4 without BioOx.

Solvent & VOC Removal

BioOx reactors were chosen by Bonita Springs, Florida Fire District as an alternative technology to control the fire hazards associated with the use and storage of solvents. Reserve Oxygen (ROx) and Booster Oxygen (BOx) Gains

This is a graph of “reserve oxygen” (ROx) and “booster oxygen” (BOx) measurements that were taken during a blood study at Olympic Champion Bode Miller’s equine sports training facility.

The blood of 11 race horses were measured before BioOx air cleaning systems were installed. Baseline results showed only an average of 26.9% performance in booster oxygen capacity (BOx) and 48.8% performance in available reserve oxygen (ROx).

Besides having a reserve of oxygen, blood is also capable of making new oxygen reserves. BOx is the factory that builds new ROx, it boosts oxygen reserves continuously. That’s why BOx is so crucial to performance and health.

After BioOx was installed, there was a dramatic 135% increase in BOx performance and a 45% increase in ROx performance.

Air Desulfurization Performance

BioOx’s titan-class Reactor 10000 units were installed at the Albuquerque Sewage Treatment Plant in order to sweep, capture, and destroy H2S and other fugitive odoriferous compounds from their Preliminary Treatment Facility (PTF) air.

Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utilities Authority (ABCWUA) staff took 19 samples of BioOx Reactor unit water, and sent them out for 3rd party analysis. Nineteen out of nineteen samples tested positive for sulfur, indicating positive deodorization of fugitive odors at the PTF.

  1. Testing conducted in an independent lab and compared the change in concentration of several public health pathogens – including H1N1, Legionella, Influenza B, MRSA and others.
  2. Testing conducted in an area of 1000 square meters hosting 4 visiting rooms and a waiting area for 100 people, with a daily turnover of 1300 patients seeking for medical advice. BioOx efficiency was tested in a working hospital in Saronno, Italy.
  3. Testing conducted at a chicken farm during a 20 day duration with 20,000 chickens per house. Ammonia readings measured with the same vent time and vent box opening.
  4. Testing conducted at the Bonita Hills Fire District in Florida. as an alternative technology to control the fire hazards associated with the use and storage of products containing solvents. The graph demonstrates destruction of acetone, non-acetone, and liquid monomer solvents.
  5. Testing conducted at Olympic Champion Bode Miller’s equine sports training facility. The blood of 11 race horses were measured before and after BioOx air cleaning systems were installed with blood analyzer equipment.
  6. Testing conducted by the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utilities Authority. ABCWUA staff took 19 samples of BioOx Reactor unit water, and sent them out for 3rd party analysis. Nineteen out of nineteen samples tested positive for sulfur, indicating positive deodorization of fugitive odors at the PTF. Over 1,200 ppm of H2S were captured and destroyed by BioOx Reactors during the test period, even though the PTF scrubber, and the Fe/peroxide system were operating. This is over two million times the odor threshold.
